Kiel

so i made it to kiel! party! it is awesome up here. i am staying in the dorms. i have my own room and my own bathroom which rocks. there are 13 of us staying in the dorms and we are all on the same floor so we all have fun together.
yesterday i took a train from frankfurt to kiel and then had to find my way to the international center at the university. so i got off the train and then just jumped on a bus and i was lucky cause it just magically took me to where i needed to go! it was great. so i made it all safe and sound.
so today we met with other german students and they took us around town and showed us good places to shop and other stuff. so there are 4 H&Ms in this town! :D
wel that is about it for the excitement for now. oh i am just two blocks away from the harbor! also i was going to buy a bike, but they are all expensive, looks like the bus for me! haha. but walking here is really easy as well.
anywhoot. that is my life.

Ulm

today we went to Ulm. It is the city in which Einstein was born! In this city the tallest Cathedral in the world can be found. It isn't too hard to see it!haha. So we went to this Cathedral. It is so very tall. We climbed hundreds of stairs to the very top of the Cathedral! It was so cool. Also very scarey if you looked directly down! From the Top of the Cathedral we heard the bells ring. It was fun. So then we hurried back down the steps and we were able to hear the end of a organ concert held inside the cathedral. All of the stairs we climbed up were almost like a completely separate thing from the normal cathedral part. It was very fun.
Then we walked over to the Danohe River. Along the river there was a festival going on. It was very fun and lively. Then we drive to a place, which I am not sure of the name at present. I think it is bluetop, or something similar. Well this is a place where a river starts. The water just comes up from the ground. THere is so much water and it is so so blue. it was really pretty.

Göppingen

So yesterday we left Elke's and now we are stayin in a little town near Göppingen. We are staying with Elizabet and her Mann Huntz. Göppingen is the city in which my Grandfather was born and raised. Today we were able to walk about the city. It is larger than I imagined. I have found that most of the cities here are larger than I imagined. All the cities are packed with people and shops and they are all so buzy. It is such a change from Utah, in which SLC is practically dead. hm.
Well today we hiked up a smallish mountain. It had the best view from the top. We have a 360 degree view of all the surrounding cities. My Papa said that it was a mountian he would climb every sunday after church. Pretty amaying experience. Then it started to rain, more like poor, and so we sat inside for a while. Then we explored Göppingen. I saw the schools, playplaces, and churches that my grandpa went to as a child.
